"Spirit of the Streets" choir play for Rotary at the Ruah Centre 05 April 2012 Ruah Centre was pleased to host the Northbridge Rotary Club meeting with a guest appearance from the ‘Spirit of the Streets’ Choir On Monday 2nd April 2012, Ruah Centre was pleased to host the Northbridge Rotary Club meeting with a guest appearance from the ‘Spirit of the Street’ Choir. The Choir sang a number of songs, including two songs written and composed by Choir members. Between songs, members of the Choir introduced the next song, explaining what difficulty they had personally experienced which had brought them to the Choir and the positive influence the Choir had had on them and their lives. As stated by one of the Rotary members, it was a ‘humbling experience’ and hugely enjoyed by all. |
