Ruah Community Services has been the trading name of the organisation since late 2001. Prior to this it was known as Daughters of Charity Services (WA) which remains the organisation's corporate registration.

Daughters of Charity Services (WA) is a not-for-profit public company, limited by guarantee, incorporated under the Corporations Law of Australia. The owners/members of the company are the Daughters of Charity. A local Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the organisation and a Chief Executive has overall responsibility for operational management.
