How to access the Specialist Recreation Program

People access the service through the public and non-government mental health services, private psychiatrists, general practitioners, family-members or self-referral. To access the service, a request for service form is completed by the referrer and potential client, and sent to the recreation team. A Specialist Recreation worker contacts the referrer acknowledging receipt of the request and arranges to visit the person to exchange information about Ruah Inreach and make a decision about receiving the service.
