Who participates at Urban Network?
Urban Network is for people living with mental health concerns.
What does Urban Network offer?
Urban Network creates opportunities for participants with mental health concerns to form social networks, share leadership, enhance their skills and increase their confidence. Participants are responsible for their own transport and financial arrangements for any activities. A regular contact day occurs weekly on Tuesday from 10.00am to 2.00pm with meditation, walking group, coffee, chat, lunch and meeting. Other activities include Men's and Women's discussion groups, knitting/crochet group, games group and celebratory activities on special occasions.
Where is Urban Network located?
Urban Network is located close to public transport at St Brigid's Centre on the corner of Fitzgerald and John Street in Northbridge. Enter through the carpark at the rear of the building. Participants are welcome from any metropolitan area.
How to access Urban Network
No formal referrals are required; however, Urban Network workers may request some basic information from participants. Potential participants can drop in at the St Brigids Centre on Tuesdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm.
